10.00MHz @Rexolite

Rexolite is a plastic like material and has very low acoustic impedance and quite low sound attenuation. It is therefore often used in NDT for demo samples.

A 10.00MHz transducer is quite high for use in NDT and works best for detecting small flaws like small cracks, or for inspection of thin metal – f.ex. adhesive joints. You can also use higher frequency transducers very effectively for ‘skin to core’ inspections.
